 COVID-19 AND OTHER HEALTH-RELATED POLICIES

While the Covid-19 pandemic has evolved over the last few years and the lock-downs are behind us, it remains a concern and has changed the way many people handle risks associated with highly infectious diseases like colds, influenza, RSV, monkeypox and the like. Tattooing requires prolonged close contact between you and your artist, so to keep everyone safe, the following procedures are in place at the shop:

  • Face coverings required at all times. You must wear a covering over your nose and mouth at all times while getting tattooed.

  • Limits on guests during your appointment. Please do not bring anyone with you to your tattoo appointment without discussing it with your artist first. Depending on the situation, they may feel comfortable with having extra people in their work area. Everyone, including guests, must wear a mask during your appointment.

  • Vaccination required. Your artist may ask you to present proof of vaccination for the Covid-19 vaccine. If you fail to provide proof of vaccination (either physical card, photo of one, or a digital record from your healthcare provider) when asked, your appointment will be canceled without a deposit refund.

  • Reschedule if you feel unwell. Whether you have tested positive for Covid-19 or not, please contact your artist to reschedule if you are experiencing symptoms like fever, cough, body aches, unusual rashes, etc. Your body is in a compromised state when you are sick, and tattooing someone who is ill puts the artist at risk! If you show up to your appointment visibly ill, your artist may decline to tattoo you at that time and you will have to submit a new deposit to reschedule.

The above policies are designed to keep the artists and all of our clients safe and minimize the spread of Covid-19 and other infectious diseases. We appreciate all of your understanding and patience!
