 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, we are currently taking walk-ins Tuesday-Friday 11am-7pm. All other days/times are by appointment only. Please note that we are a two-person operation and during walk-in hours, it’s possible that we are both tattooing and unable to answer the phone/greet walk-ins immediately. If you’d rather not wait in the lobby, best thing to do is email an artist ahead of time.

How do I make an appointment?

Our artists handle their own booking, so the easiest way to make an appointment is to contact them directly. For more information on booking and deposit policies, visit the Booking page.

Do you do piercings?

We do not offer piercing services or jewelry.

How much does a tattoo cost?

We charge $200 per hour, and the shop minimum is $200. That said, the overall cost of a tattoo depends on how long it takes. The best thing to do is to contact your artist for a consultation. They can then give you an estimate of how long your tattoo is likely to take and about how much it will cost you.

Are taxes or tips included in the price?

Sales tax and tips are not included in the hourly rate or price quotes. Tipping is both appropriate and appreciated.

Do you offer gift certificates?

We sure do! Contact an artist directly to purchase a gift certificate.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash and all major credit cards. Artists may also arrange electronic payments on platforms such as Venmo or PayPal at their discretion.

Can I get tattooed if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

No, we are not able to tattoo you if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Can I get tattooed if I am under 18 years old?

You must be 18 years old to be tattooed in the state of Washington. We will absolutely not tattoo minors, regardless of parental consent.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We recommend you wear something casual that you will be comfortable in, with easy access to the area being tattooed. Keep in mind that there is always a chance you will get some ink on your clothes. We do not require face coverings right now, but please let us know if you prefer to wear one and have your artist wear one!

Do you use vegan-friendly ink?

Yes, all of the pigments we use are vegan-friendly.

Can tattoo inks cause allergic reactions?

While it is possible to be allergic to anything, allergies to tattoo pigments are very rare. If you do have concerns, please consult with your doctor prior to scheduling an appointment.

Do you provide/endorse numbing creams or aftercare products?

These days, there are countless products being marketed as tattoo-specific anesthetics, healing balms, sunscreens, brighteners, etc. Using any of these products will be purely at your own expense and discretion, and we cannot guarantee the results or potential adverse reactions caused by use of these products.

What is your “touch-up” policy?

How your tattoo will age depends on the size, placement and design, as well as your own genetics and lifestyle. How you heal and take care of the tattoo will also be a major factor in its longevity. Be willing to be flexible and take your artist’s advice on the size and location of your tattoo. Our tattoos are guaranteed and we offer follow-up and touch-up appointments when necessary.

Where should I park? Do you have a parking lot?

We do not have a dedicated parking lot. Street parking is free on surrounding residential streets, and there are paid lots nearby. The City of Seattle provides a handy street parking map so you can plan ahead. We are not responsible for any fines or towing fees.

Is the shop accessible by public transit?

We are located very close to King County Metro bus lines 5 and 45. You also have the option to use a ride-share service like Lyft or Uber.
